Nicole Ouwenga-Scott
Nicole Ouwenga-Scott, the Founder and CEO of the Rhythm ‘n You Piano Studio, is an Advanced Simply Music Piano Teacher with 41 years of piano experience. Starting her musical journey at the age of 7 and continuing her education through college, she unexpectedly discovered the Simply Music Piano Method in 2007. After years of taking classical lessons and teaching traditional piano lessons, Nicole was impressed by the results that Simply Music students are able to achieve in a very short period of time. She became a Licensed Simply Music Teacher in May of 2007 and opened the Rhythm ‘n You Piano Studio.
Because of Simply Music, Nicole’s relationship to the piano and her own musicianship has expanded into areas she had never tried in her classical training: playing Blues and Jazz, as well as, improvising and composing her own songs and arrangements.
Nicole’s passion is to give students an experience that redefines who they are and what they believe they’re capable of. And to discover that we are all immensely and creatively musical!
